Miller Objects is an Australian design and manufacturing studio creating architectural lighting and objects for residential and commercial spaces. Designed and made in Australia, each piece balances thoughtful design, quality materials and precise craftsmanship.
Miller was founded by Luke Turner and Nicholas Fuller, bringing together complementary backgrounds in architecture, design and manufacturing. Luke holds a Bachelor of Interior Architecture and has worked across furniture, public art and architecture, including time at Woods Bagot. Nick is a qualified fine furniture maker with a Bachelor of Design Arts in Furniture, whose work has received multiple Australian design awards and been exhibited at Milan Design Week. Together, their experience forms the foundation of Miller’s approach, where design informs how something is made, and making informs how it is designed.
The name Miller comes from the idea of a mill: taking raw material and refining it until only what matters remains. We approach objects in much the same way. Material, detail and construction are continually refined until the object feels resolved, useful, exact and worth having. It is this thinking that sits behind our philosophy.
